On August 27th we had our 2nd Annual Future is Female Fundraiser to raise money for our mentoring program that serves Chicago youth. We had various Chicago based small businesses Sponsor our event and donate items to our silent auction.

Our mission is to make a change in the communities of Chicago that are in crisis, by improving the lives and future of the young girls that live there. We have seen girls in these communities be let down time and time again, which gives the impression that nobody really cares if they succeed. With this impression that nobody around them cares about their future they start to care less about themselves.

At our fundraiser we were raising money to put towards our goal of purchasing transportation to allow us to reach more girls in the city that we are currently unable to serve. With the generous donations given and tickets purchased we are even closer to reaching our goal!
